Milestone of Success

When I first started working with Lakeville Homes, one of the marketing issues that needed attention was branding the Lakeville name.  How would we get metrics for determining if the Lakeville’s name was getting out there and associated with a quality product and the customer service we pride ourselves on?

We determined that having Lakeville Homes name included in the relist of one of our homes would be an excellent indicator.

This spring, one of our homes from 2004 came back up on the market.  It was built in the Marymoor area of Redmond and has been lovingly inhabited by its owners since they purchased it.  And right there in the marketing comments is mentioned, “Built by Street of Dreams, award-winning homebuilder Lakeville Homes.”

We are thrilled that the local real estate community is recognizing the work we’ve been doing these past 25 years as a commodity.  We plan to NOT let you down in this regard.  Ever.

Oh, and the home?  Here are some images.  She looks great!

It’s probably worth mentioning that this home went pending within two weeks and is set to close next month.

More Marketing

So although social media is a big deal and part of any successful marketing plan, it is just that, a part of the whole.

Lakeville does not have a marketing department.  However, we have found the benefit of teaming up with the right partners to put our best face forward in our marketing efforts.

Take our real estate agent.  Lisa Whittaker has been working with us for years now.  She has a way with words, an eye for style and the personality to want to constantly improve.  She is a key component of my marketing plan.

She sent me the following video as a post script to an email conversation we had today.  Just a little something she’s thrown together.  That’s what I love about working with her.  Not only does she excel in the traditional aspects associated with her job, she’s always pushing the envelope, looking for a way to better herself and her product’s exposure.  The video is already on facebook and now it graces our lakevillehomes.com website.
